Miles Canyon is a country artist and accomplished songwriter who recently made Alberta home after years of musical success in Saskatchewan.
With hundreds of songwriting credits and countless performances across Canada, Miles Canyon has built a reputation as a passionate and versatile musician. He has shared stages with a wide range of talented artists and continues to make his mark on the Canadian country music scene.
His journey into country music began as a side project alongside his long-standing band, which has been recording and touring for over a decade. While his writing spans multiple genres, it’s the raw honesty and storytelling of country music that ignited his drive to pursue it full time.
Since relocating to Alberta, Canyon has quickly gained momentum, turning heads with his powerful vocals and genre-blending songwriting style. His live performances have been described as electric, authentic, and unforgettable—cementing him as a must-see act in the country circuit.
He has performed a variety of showcase events including Country Thunder, the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, the Canadian Country Music Awards, Country Music Alberta, The JUNOs, Canadian Finals Rodeo, and the Diamond in the Rough Showcase. Notably, he was a Top 10 finalist in a national competition with the National Music Centre of Canada and a semi-finalist in the Ranchman’s Rising Star competition.
His second release, “Record Shelf,” earned him a nomination for Songwriter of the Year at the YYC Music Awards and landed in the Top 10 on the Canadian Independent Country Charts—a testament to his rising influence and dedication to the craft.
